Me and the homies were in tears of shock, anguish and amazement throughout the duration of this movie. It pulls on the heartstrings in subtle and mysterious ways, and the script is incredibly complex and meaningful. I found the photographs shown to us by my favourite character in the movie, Freddy, particularly thought provoking. They brought a word to my mind that I can’t quite pin down right now, but I’m pretty sure it begins with an R or an S. Freddy’s character continues to astound me with his intuition and multi layered psyche that we can truly delve in to deep, from his clear love of money and profit and his obvious absence of one true loving family to comfort and guide him. Overall, I dig this movie. This movie is a masterpiece, if I could do a module studying this for a film degree I 1000% would put myself through student debt again to do so.
