I always had mixed feelings about this dreadful story. Hard to tell if Allen is a pedophile or Farrow fabricated evidence against him, even after hearing this version of the story. At any rate, Allen seems to have acted like a real jerk with Soon Hi and Mia, no matter what, even if her didn’t molest little Dylan. But the tapped phone calls in the documentary are truly pathetic, as you can only hear what Mia says and practically nothing of what Woody says. Or if he didn’t reply, why not explaining it in a note? A more important question for HBO could be if we really needed a four-part documentary on this distasteful saga?
