I don’t know who is writing reviews on here but this is the saddest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Nobody was sober, including the cinematographer who is taking drugs directly from juice wrld. Nobody is intervening in the obviously progressive disease of addiction that is unfolding. This isn’t journalism. This is an irresponsible excuse for a documentary. If the cinematographer is in charge of the content he should be ashamed of himself. You’re complicit in a beautiful person’s demise. Do better.
HBO- if you’re going to be responsible for this type of content then at the VERY LEAST advertise some resources for struggling addicts watching this triggering story. One can clearly see that addiction is prominent here. Don’t normalize it and become part of the problem. I can tell diversity is needed on your team to offer differing perspectives. Unfortunately, common sense is not common.
