Compared to the the Final Fantasy VII Remake, this is glittering garbage. It has all the looks of the new, beautifully rendered locals of FF VII Remake, but the gameplay feels cheap, the voiceovers are poorly timed and often contain unreasonable amounts dead air, and the limits on materia management are criminal. If you want something to hold you over to FF VII part 2, this will do. But don’t have any expectations that the quality of the experience will even begin to approach that of the primary game.
