Watching CBS Sunday Morning has been something I looked forward to each week for years. I've loved the stories because they gave me a reprieve to the ugliness I see in the news every day. Sunday Morning was a ray of light and a reminder of the positive things happening in the world. I've noticed for several months most of the stories aren't uplifting anymore and leave me feeling sad and disappointed. Apparently, I'm not the only one who has felt that way. On Sept 6, Jane Pauley read another viewer's letter expressing the same concern. Her response was they are a news organization and it's an election year. Yes, CBS is a news organization and it has a line up of other shows for that kind of news. There is more news in the world to report than the ugliness I can turn on anytime, any day of the week. I'm sorry to say the direction Sunday Morning is taking is removing the reason for me to watch.
