The film is reasonably good as a whole. It's a light-hearted family movie but it really destroyed the spirit and magic of Christmas when they made it completely woke and decided to to make Santa slim,black ,have no joyful magical personality and to have him driving some form of electric type sleigh with no reindeer. He was basically not father Christmas/ Santa at all and it literally took all of the festive and magical spirit of Christmas out of what could have been a lovely movie .

Absolutely brilliant!! I watched the original ducktails growing up and my children have watched the original as they've grown up too. Hearing they had released a new series I was a little apprehensive as generally when older cartoon series's are re released the animation is normally terrible and the stories aren't anywhere near as good as the original but I was completely surprised wiup this. The animation isn't quite as good as the original but the rest is as good if not better. I love the fact that they've given the triplets and the rest of the characters some back story this time and having watched the rescue rangers many times it was brilliant to see them and to see a part of their back story too . David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck is possibly the most perfect casting ever,I'm loving watching him bring Scrooge to life and the way he gives his character a brilliant personality. You just can't fault this series,I hope they make many more series's of it. 5 stars simply isn't enough. I love it and so do the kids!!!
