Microtransactions of this nature in a full price game aimed at kids should be illegal. The fact LEGO clearly supports this practice is sadly no surprise (LEGO has strict control over their IP)

In the past certain minorities were portrayed by white actors. This was wrong and thankfully we have moved forward and recognised the inherent racism in this rewriting of peoples culture and their history. By far the worst thing about Cleopatra is that it was so clearly done to court controversy for nothing more than free advertising and column inches. A TV series race baiting for publicity. Disgusting behaviour. It is hard to accept that this was ever allowed to happen in our so called modern era of TV. Netflix needs to be better than this. The greater shame of all this is the cast look great and there is a wealth of amazing black culture and history that has never been brought to our TVs and into our homes.
