Couldn't get past the first 20min. The premise of the film is absurd. Children die so they lock up the rest in a prison, even the smart safe ones, while society falls apart sure to the lack of children...? Huh? It's like it was written by an angry 15 year old. Adults bad. Children victims. Just a load of nonsense with bad writing and suspect acting.

Great movie, beautifully shot and with considerable depth for such a simple story.

The writing was terrible, clunky unrealistic dialogue. It's like the writer was trying way too hard, very unnatural.

Gritty, dark, real... haven't enjoyed an invasion movie this much since Cloverfield. love this sort of stuff.

Yep another movie where pretty much every man is portrayed as a rapist, murderer, psychopath or liar. Disgusting demonisation of men which is becoming par for the course in movies these days.

Very novel story, a bit dark, quality, quality acting. Never seen anything like it before, thank God someoes doing something cool rather than just another bloody Marvel movie!

A series which started incredibly strongly and has some powerful acting, but which was let down by a dawdling then messy script in places. Episode 5 was terrible, not insightful, and painful to watch. The cake eating scene in the final episode was bizarre. What started with a pop and a Fizz finished as flat warm wine.

Fabulous. Quality Sci fi. Can't wait for the remaining series...

Started off very enjoyable, fresh and witty. Ended up being frustrating and annoying watching a series of highly unlikeable people try to outdo each other in terms of how obnoxious they can be. The outageous behaviours keep getting worse, more unbelievable and more and more painful to watch. But, apparently, some people like watching awful people behaving awfully.

An intelligent, well crafted, and very enjoyable retelling of a small slice of history. This is what happens when the writing is central to a movie and not just an afterthought to the action.
