Once again, Netflix delights us with a new Korean release, Mr. Plankton. This is a charming blend of comedy and romance, and I personally enjoyed the chemistry between Lee Yoo-mi and Woo Do-hwan. It was refreshing to see Woo Do-hwan in a major role, and he truly delivered an impressive performance. The plot feels fresh and unique. A 28-year-old woman is diagnosed with early menopause, and our young hero, facing his own fatal illness, is forced to confront his misfortune. Although he’s unlucky, his girlfriend might be even unluckier. Formerly each other’s exes, they’re brought back together by fate, spending precious time as he reaches the final stage of his life. The story is captivating, with an adventurous mix of romance and emotion. The production quality is excellent, and I appreciate the director’s choice to include so many outdoor scenes, which add a refreshing and dynamic feel to the series. I also enjoyed the performances of Oh Jung-se and Kim Min-seok in their supporting roles. Mr. Plankton is a delightful watch, available on Netflix in multiple languages. If you’re in the mood for something heartfelt yet humorous, this is a great choice for your weekend viewing!

"The Buckingham Murders" is finally streaming on Netflix—a big release I’ve eagerly awaited since its announcement on social media. The combination of Harshad Mehta, a master of crime and thriller stories, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, stepping into her first role as producer, looked promising from the start. Discovering that Ekta Kapoor also joined the crew made me anticipate something truly exceptional. Now, the wait is over, and I watched The Buckingham Murders on its release day. What struck me most was how Kareena’s every expression, every wrinkle, showcased her hard work in the Indian film industry. Beyond that, the story was layered and kept me guessing till the very end, with plenty of twists I couldn’t predict. Kareena Kapoor Khan is phenomenal, capturing her character’s serious, anxious, and relentless pursuit of the truth. Harshad Mehta has once again done a fantastic job, and most of the cast fit their roles perfectly. It was also refreshing to see a British backdrop and supporting cast in this film. I especially want to commend Ranveer Singh Brar, the renowned Indian chef, who brought a surprising level of acting skill and held his own among seasoned actors. The film is available on Netflix, and although the dubbing could be improved—I’ve read it’s being reworked—I’d still say this is a must-watch. Make time to enjoy it with your family!

I was really looking forward to Season 2 of Gyeongseong Creature because the first season was so good, and I still enjoy rewatching some scenes. The Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature has been released, and I watched it over the weekend. Once again, the storyline is excellent, but the sequel is even more creative, as it incorporates modern elements from the year 2024, which are discussed throughout the episodes. Han So-hee impressed me once again, especially after the news of her breakup. She’s still fabulous. Her chemistry with Park Seo-joon is one of the main attractions for viewers, and they complement each other in many scenes, especially when they fight alongside a group of people to reunite. Lady Maeda also looks stunning, and her storyline—especially her acceptance of her husband’s mistress’s child—was a great connection between both seasons. And of course, Bae Hyun-sung, as Seong-jo, brings a fresh energy. We’re all hoping to see more dramas and movies that showcase his talent. I highly recommend watching Gyeongseong Creature Season 2. I’d give it 5 stars for its brilliant blend of horror, fantasy, fiction, and romance.

This weekend was great for me. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, but while scrolling through Netflix, I found The Stranger. I completely lost track of the weekend and everything I had planned. I stayed up all night watching the series, and the story is fabulous. It’s a perfect blend of mystery and thrill, with a smoothly driven plot, charismatic direction, and of course, an unforgettable cast that deserves a round of applause. The biggest kudos to the entire team. The story begins with suspense—a hidden truth revealed to Adam Price, which leads him to view everyone around him with suspicion. He even suspects his wife, who is proven innocent in the final episode. You can imagine the emotional turmoil, the plot twists, and the excellent scenes throughout the show. The drama grips you, and you won’t want to miss a single moment. If you love surprises and enjoy being captivated by every moment on screen, I highly recommend The Stranger, available on Netflix in multiple languages.

Knowing historical incidents is really important for the upcoming generation, as it builds their confidence, especially when it comes to their honesty with their country and the people. I always appreciate movies and series that explore our past. Netflix is such a huge platform for portraying real stories, and in the current era, storytellers and directors never pass up big opportunities like a big screen. Last night, I watched the Indian series IC 814: Kandahar Hijack. This is the story of a hijacking that happened in the past and how the Indian government handled it. The cast is superb, with Vijay Varma as the lead character, the captain of the hijacked airplane. He always delivers excellent work. He looks cool, patient, and dedicated to his people. The series hooked me until the last scene, which is the biggest sign of a blockbuster show. So, yes, this is a successful Netflix production. I really don't know if the Indian government was as ineffective as portrayed at that time—this is an incident from 1999. The officers, bureaucracy, and high officials seemed to be playing with the situation. Even the newspapers were too scared to publish the truth. But I understand, 24/25 years ago, the media was not as quick in making publishing decisions. In many scenes, I laughed because the actors were so honest with their portrayals. They dealt amazingly with what was happening around them and how they had to portray what the politicians actually wanted. I also appreciate Manoj Pahwa; he was amazing with his dialogue delivery and acting. He actually made the story funny, and although it was scripted, he did a great job. In the future, more past incidents from different countries should be portrayed, as we all want to learn about history. I enjoyed all the episodes and recommend everyone to watch it.

I finished the Spanish series on Netflix, The Accident, and I would say, you should definitely watch it. It has so many twists and turns until the last episode and keeps the viewer hooked. This is my second series with Sebastián Martínez, and I must say, he is a brilliant actor. However, I think his wife, Ana Claudia Talancón, could have been replaced with someone better suited for the role. The series is titled The Accident, and it is indeed centered around an accident that occurs unintentionally. There are many characters who feel guilty, but over time, numerous truths are revealed, ranging from business tactics to secret affairs and emotional needs. The different stories of four families, dishonest husbands, domestic violence, and understanding parents are all portrayed beautifully in the show. As a big fan of Korean dramas, I enjoyed this show after a long time and highly recommend it to everyone. After few watches, I realize Spanish thrillers often feature intricate plots with unexpected twists that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The unpredictability is a hallmark of the genre, making each film a compelling mystery, and this story of The Accident appears like that.

First of all, I am curious why this limited series is named “The Frog.” In fiction, a frog might be portrayed as having characteristics or behaviors that mirror human concepts of morality or justice, but this is a literary device rather than a reflection of the frog’s actual nature. Netflix is a platform for mature productions, including movies, dramas, stand-up comedies, and many documentaries in various languages. So, yes, it feels like a reliable source of drama. “The Frog” is a Netflix production in Korean, with dubbing in several other languages. The series is a mix of crime, thriller, and mystery. It follows a psychopathic girl who arrives at Onbit Natural Recreation Forest in Nonsan, Chungcheong Province. Named Yoo Seong-a, she stays in a vacation house and feels suspicious from the very first day. Yoo Seong-a murders her husband’s son and later a few other people. She also attempts to kill the vacation house owner and his daughter. Ultimately, she is caught and killed by her husband. Most of her scenes are with Kim Yoon-seok, who undeniably looks cool and handsome. Their chemistry is amazing. I liked the story, direction, acting, and most importantly, the captivating scenery. However, I felt that the series had a tendency to drag, as some scenes seemed unnecessarily prolonged. I also believe the story could have been elegantly wrapped up in 5 or 6 episodes. Nevertheless, overall, it’s a good watch and an interesting drama. I recommend this Netflix production, which is also available with Hindi dubbing. Go and enjoy it!

Last night, I had the opportunity to watch Tokyo Swindlers, and I was particularly drawn to it because of Go Ayano's performance. The crime storyline was engaging and held my attention for the first four or five episodes. However, as the series progressed, my interest waned. While the plot was strong, the minimal action felt a bit out of sync with the overall narrative. If you're looking for something to watch and don't have many options, Tokyo Swindlers could be worth a try. However, I found it just okay. The show is available on Netflix, and while it's a production of their house, I believe there’s room for improvement.

I just finished watching Lovely Runner on Netflix. I'm really grateful that Netflix picked up this popular Korean romantic drama, as it's often difficult to access such content on other platforms. The convenience is much appreciated. Regarding the drama itself, I found the story to be rather average, with numerous unnecessary twists. Despite its popularity, I believe a significant reason for its fame is Byeon Woo-seok's presence. For those interested in Korean dramas, this could be an option. However, if you're looking for an engaging, immersive story, this might not be the best choice. The plot, acting, and direction all felt mediocre to me. Overall, I was a bit disappointed.
