Now I went into this movie pretty much blind. I didn't watch the trailers. When I went into the film my initial expectations were that it was going to be ok. The performances are what you expect from the MCU at this point, nothing but superb. One thing I quite enjoyed was how dark the film can get at times, it's nothing major if you like your horror films. However, for a Marvel film, it is more mature than other films have been. And ultimately it's one of the film's strong suits. However, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's seen the director's previous work. E.g. "Evil Dead". As it definitely feels like a mix of Evil Dead and Doctor Strange 1. One thing I will say is the ending seems very abrupt, which is one of the film's weak points as it tries to set up future films. Overall I would say give this one a watch. 8/10
