The disparity between the actual events, in other words the reality and this film is like comparing London, England as it was and this production which occupies a parallel universe pretending to be London but which isn’t and never was. It just shows how folk aren’t interested in the events but want a distorted theatrical dark fairy tale pretending to be real.

Superb understated film; a rate stand out example of the genre. Few films even approach this thriller in it’s simplicity and authenticity. It’s a little masterpiece and holds up on repeated viewings
