The movie is brilliant in the way that it so authentically recalls memories in our childhood of beloved family and friends gathering for holidays and birthdays…recorded whether on Super 8 reels, slides, VHF, digital cameras with flash drives, CDs,etc… how children struggle to come to terms with their own puberty to adolescence and to understand their parents, grandparents or siblings in relationship to themselves. The flashbacks are real and the soundtrack added meaning to what I can only describe as a therapeutic cinematic experience with the ghosts of loved ones lost to depression…the movie I didn’t know I needed but so very thankful that it was made. Still crying a week later 💕💔🙏
