Refreshing to have a new HBO show with Great acting. Plus having Jordan Peele and JJ Abrahams among others contribute to making it so original with their signature creepy fingerprints on a bunch of the episodes. If it makes you search for “Lovecraft Country, renewed for season 2?” before the 3rd episode is even over, then you know something is amazing!

I feel like even though the cast was stacked, they were all just sitting around doing an over dramatic table read. As if they were told ok do this but act like how you would if you were mocking actors. The fake accents were throwing me off as well, guys supposed to be doing Guyanese accents but it’s coming off as a poor version of a Jamaican accent. Anyone from either of these countries could definitely hear it, and it was distracting. Only one that pulled it off was Garmen and that’s probably because he’s British. Story line is all over the place so far, I only gave it 3 stars because I like Tim Olyphant. The postal inspector is annoying also. The fact that the one kid flipped instantly was not believable. The writing is poor and it left me thinking what just happened?? I’m confused because it’s full of great actors playing mediocre roles giving half a performance.
