Seasons 1-4 were solid Political drama television. Thoroughly enjoyed! Walked a fine line between ideologies, never mentioned name of actual parties. But the show became increasingly woke starting season 5 rlly. To a rather annoying extent, it sorta became cringe. Each plot resolution ended with some cringe "good guys win" woke thing, its like the acting got worse too tbh :/ Its obvious what happened... Trump prez began so the show shifted to respond to it lol. Literally using buzz words Dems use against Reps irl. One thing i really did love though was the marriage relationship between Elizabeth and Henry. It was always heartwarming to see how they navigated their struggles together. Oh well, wish they continued just making a good show instead of scoring points
