Just finished watching it. Still thinking, it's a perfectly fine movie, but something wasn't doing it for me or pushing it over the top. The general story is a bit predictable and common. I think the artist's lifestyle is portrayed accurately besides the scene where he hangs a hotel bedsheet and starts sketching, no one does that. The music seems a bit forced at times. Perhaps i would've liked to see more cohesion. I realize there were rarely more than two characters at a time. The beginning scenes seem almost unnecessary. I also don't know why he was recording his father with a camera like a confessional. The actors were great though.
