It felt, right from the opening shots, like a film that, sadly, barely gets made anymore. A wonderful story about 3 very different, broken, people, who helped, in an unconventional way, to repair some of the damage life had done to them. Giamatti is a hell of an actor. With just a look he can make you feel great joy or great pain. He’s ably supported by his 2 comrades. Naheem Garcia lights up every scene he’s in too. A really lovely film
