You get shot and you lose your job. You survive getting shot and rehab and you lose your job. You cultivate relationships with donors, staff, and patients for years and lose your job. You lose your job to your daughter after being shot why? What does she bring to the table? She is good Sam. What? Uhh? She has a better bed side manner with staff and patients and she has a new age effinency. Big deal! If I was dying I would want her daddy to save my life. Arrogant and brash who cares. I'm there to get well not to make friends. Did you ever watch House ,which is a way,way, better show by the way. The guy shredded everything and everyone he came in contact with but with him, you were going to walk out that door alive. Hello, experience counts with doctors that is why older people usually get these jobs. We don't live in Utopia people. Underlings just walk-in and get these jobs. The only reason she has the job is because she is a legacy. She learned from her dad the hard way. Her abilities didn't come from osmosis. He is the reason why and she takes his job? Things shouldn't work that way,but on this show they do. Why?This show cares more about headcounts than quality. How much diversity we have males vs females and how youth is better than age and blah, blah, blah. It is emotional terrorism. It is only there to pacify every 15 year old to 35 year old long enough to sell them commercial products. Telling what you want to hear to give you false since of reality. It is the square peg in the round hole for people who don't know better but should know better.

I just season 5 episode 3 and it was the best episode of TV I have watched in over a year and I thank you. I want to thank the writers for intelligently crafting this episode. I want to thank the actors for lending their emotions to this episode and selling them wholeheartedly and I want to thank Fox for allowing these people to do their jobs. This show was about people not causes and it makes all the difference between success and failure. There is hope for good TV again. This is the only show I watch on Fox. The rest don't aspire to this level. There is immaturity or selling of ideology that strips away all the integrity of the rest of the shows on this network. I'm not dealing with it anymore. I have opted out. I do thank you for the episode. It was an oasis in the sea of twisted wreckage that fills this network. I miss Bones, Fringe, Lethal weapon, etc... Not just the shows but the quality that connected characters to an audience. They have replaced that with insincerity.

it's a fun watch without a lot of political or social messaging that sucks the joy out of watching television these day. I like the action, the simplicity of structure and the playful interaction of characters. You can sit back and just enjoy this show. Hopefully, the networks will produce more shows like this in the future. Remember people watch these shows to relax and have fun. No one needs to be a lecture to while watching TV. If you feel the need to do that TV writer of America just put in a letter and send it to yourself.
