Watched it last night in a lovely old fashioned cinema in Faversham, Kent, without the booming of the film next door and seats that did not tip you back into infinity, so that was a good start. The film was a real feel good show with excellent actors in a film based on a true story. Even if you haven't thought about "sea shanties" before, if you like music with some soul, you'll enjoy it. The scenery itself was a joy and reminded us of when we parked our car on the beach in Port Isaac, and nearly lost it ( see the film to see what I mean). Suppose this will appeal to the older generation, but why don't you kids get away from the "crash, bang, wallop" stuff and relax for a while.
