I genuinely really enjoyed this movie. First time watching it, the pacing was actually really good, which is quite rare these days. It didn't feel rushed or unfinished, everything that happened felt natural and was enjoyable to watch. My favorite thing about this movie is the artstyle, it's very colorful and whimsical. I love it. Along with that, my favorite character in this movie is Ember. She has a beautiful, unique design and I loved watching her interact with Wade and the others. The story didn't feel too generic and left me wanting to see more. I love a good romance story every now and then, and I'd say this movie is one of them. I definitely recommend watching with the family. Solid 4.5/5!

I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants a simple yet fun story. I'm gonna be honest, I didn't think this movie looked very good seeing the trailers and negative feedback, but I wouldn't say it was bad after watching it. Overall, I'm gonna give it a 3.5/5, my biggest criticism is the pacing being too fast and the simplicity of the story. I feel like a lot of movies in our current day are rushed, not necessarily lazy, but way too short due to lack of creativity at some point in development. Setting my criticism aside, I'll say I did enjoy this movie. My favorite character throughout the film is Star, it may be just a glowing ball of energy but it's simply adorable. It reminds me a lot of Luma from the game Super Mario Galaxy, which I have immense nostalgia for. I get this is off topic, but at the end when Star winks at the camera it was SO similar to the ending of the Super Mario Bros. Movie which I thought was really cool. The animation in this movie holds up, as usual with these kinds of films. Not Disney's best work, but it is one to be enjoyed at all ages.

I saw the movie on opening night, it was great! I didn't know anything about the FNAF lore but fortunately my brother knows everything about everything and told me the names of all the characters as we watched the movie, and I actually really enjoyed it! I literally got lightheaded watching it at some parts because I was so worried Mike was gonna die. I'm glad everyone made it! The movie was really fun to watch, I would recommend despite the bad reviews. Don't listen to critics, they nuked the Mario Movie too.

I watched this movie opening day (April 5th, 1:00pm) and it was SO good! Honestly, the references were a LITTLE shallow, I was expecting them to go all out on this like maybe even something from Paper Mario in the music, but still, it doesn't matter because this movie was just perfect! The humor was great, even the non-intended to be funny scenes had me laughing. Especially that part in the opening where Francis (reminded me of Super Paper Mario) the dog started attacking Mario and Luigi while destroying the bathroom. That and the music was so funny. I may have laughed a bit too hard at it. There were also some "emotional" scenes too, like the part where Luigi thinks of Mario and him as babies and how Mario always sticks up for his younger brother. It was so adorable and sad at the same time, I felt bad for Luigi. Princess Peach was also fantastic in this movie, I loved her personality and the part where she used the ice flower. She's a POWERFUL princess! I wonder where Peach actually came from now, that part where she tells Mario her backstory was really interesting. Baby Peach was adorable in this movie, and very accurate to her appearance in the games! I think everything in this movie was SPOT ON accurate to Mario as a franchise. I couldn't of been more happy with it. Another thing I need to mention, Peach's wedding outfit was simply GORGEOUS! Lumalee's death obsession was funny, loved the kart building scene, Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong was a wonderful surprise, King Boo and King Bob-Omb also showed up which was SO COOL, Mario and Luigi's family, Donkey Kong and Mario getting swallowed by an Eel, that second verse of "Peaches", Toads little adventure song, I could go on and on praising this film. It's definitely the PERFECT family movie, appeals to anyone who loves Mario. What a great time to be the biggest Mario fan.
