Gosford Park is one of the best films of our time. The highly stratified and prejudicial society of the times is very well realised and the characters and their inter relationships superbly observed.

This is ostensibly about a murder trial which is constantly interrupted by the preposterous accounts of the private lives of the jurors. The intensity of the latter and the highly unlikely interactions of the jurors whilst in court is utterly preposterous.
