Stunningly creepy in it’s simplicity and restraint. The same tense, confused apprehension stirs in the gut as conjured by Upstream Color, starring Seimetz some years ago. Not a film since has achieved it quite the same way. It’s not surprising that this one is lost on many- it’s cerebral, probably too “artsy” for most. If you have a nose for anything left of pedestrian, this is an absolute delight. Hence the critical acclaim it has garnered. Seimetz is a total badass, no doubt.
