The best matrix sequel. But that's not saying much really! A little meta scene towards the beginning lets you forgive a few of the film's flaws, but overall it's not great. Too many characters, none of whom have clear motives, and a low-stakes plot with rushed expositional dialogue. Worth a watch if you're a fan of the franchise. If you're not sure about watching it anyway, give it a miss.
