I’d give this movie an 8/10. I really enjoy the way Alvarez makes his movies. Is it an award winning movie? No, but really no horror movie is. The acting was great, the plot was interesting and there was just some flat out cool scenes throughout. I loved the theme of artificial intelligence and shows that humans can be empathetic toward a robot. I loved the design of the props. You didn’t feel like this was a complete remake but was straight out of the 80s. Was solid representation as well without trying to throw it in your face like a lot of directors do nowadays. Solid movie.
