My image of Patrick Wilson is forever tainted because of what he’s done to the Insidious franchise. He’s a great actor. Terrible director. I can’t believe he’s done this. I’m such a huge fan of the franchise, this is such a disappointing conclusion. I can’t remember the last time I was this upset over a movie. It was so bad.

If you think what happened is the mother's fault, you must be anti-choice. I'll let you read into that what you will. It is so obvious that she was not ready or didn't want to be a mother, and it was somewhat forced upon her. Of course she resented her son. She never should have had him, but that's not her fault. The only blame that can be placed on the parents is not getting psychological help for Kevin at an early age, but Eva was actively being gaslit by her husband and the doctor we saw in the one scene. The fact that the whole town hated her made me so angry. She was just as much a victim of Kevin as were the fatalities and their families, if not more so because he tormented her from the moment he was conceived. I thought this movie was well done, and it definitely makes you think
