Just sort of uninteresting and unfunny. Eddie Murphy isn't given much to work with in terms of lines, actions, etc - weak script in general. Most of the "jokes" are unoriginal and don't land. Also, it is weirdly vulgar for a family Christmas film. I am not against all vulgarity, but this felt extremely out of place and forced, almost like the writer was trying to make a "splash". I would avoid for kids because of the vulgarity, and I'd avoid it for adults due to the poor, uninspired writing.
