VERY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!
General: From the very first minute, I was hooked. Amazing graphics, intense music and fighting, and a plot that actually makes sense. It is recommended that you watch the movie instead of the episodes one by one - story really flows. The thing I love about this is that the production team weren't just thinking "we have to make this cool and epic" (though they did), but also "we need to present a plot that will make people interested in the dialogue scenes and character exposition."
World: I am a bit of a worldbuilding geek, and so (not to brag), I know what I am talking about. And I will say this - the worldbuilding here is really good. The geography makes sense at one level and is also amazingly fantasy. The builders did an incredible job of making the world and it is truly stunning.
Voice Acting: Masterful voice acting. In particular, Carl G. Brooks and Quinn o' Quinn were fantastic, and everyone else was great too. Each person really got into their character. Which leads me to my next point.
Characters: Wow. Just wow. They nailed every one of the characters - no inconsistencies, no problems. You get invested in the characters and it is definitely a possibility that when they die (one in particular), there might be some tears. I can't say much more than go watch the movie to see what I mean.
Is it cringy?: No. The first MC animation I have seen which is actually serious and isn't at least a tiny bit cringe-worthy. This story has a really good feel to it. It didn't feel rushed (they worked on it since 2011), and it was portrayed very well.
Plot: Nothing (apart from the characters, maybe) was done better than the plot. It makes sense, there are plenty of mysteries, and a stunning twist at the end that will leave you clutching you buttcheeks in astonishment.
Humour: Another thing they nailed. David and the team were really smart about humour. It was certainly there, but it wasn't in your face. There was one bit in episode 3 that I only realised after looking back. "Since your crimes were once again *SPOILER*" Fill in the word spoiler with what is said and you may see how cool it is with what happens next episode.
Tension: Again, very on point. The team made sure that the series wasn't just one big roller coaster of tension and fright. However, they really integrated it in well. There's just a brief shot of someone reaching for his knife, for example, and you hardly notice it and yet it makes you realize things are about to get ugly.
Skin Design: Perfect. Wonderful - best skins I have ever seen - I am currently sporting one myself. Check out DarthLux on Skindex for all of them.
Music: You need to watch the series - the music is beautiful and really carries the story in its arms, while not being over the top. Our hats off to you, AfterInfinity, for your Lord of the Rings-calibre score.
Age rating: Not particularly gory in any way. There are deaths, and some are done in a brutal way, but there isn't any blood involved. No adult scenes. Fantasy tension and moments that really make you grip your chair. No inappropriate language or cursing. So yes, some very tension-filled moments and some deaths, but nothing too crazy. Anyone above the age of 10 would be fine with this, most likely. For some very tender souls they might want to wait till they're 12.
There are also behind the scenes videos for each episode - check them out.
I could not recommend this more - far better than many movies in cinemas. Rivals the likes of LotR, the Hobbit, and Harry Potter. Also, you don't need to know anything about Minecraft to understand the plot.
