I absolutely loved almost every single episode up until the last one. I have to say that it felt as though the writers hastily wor an ending to the series that felt "unfinished" and threw in these big shockers for no real reason. For example, the way they totally changed Janet's character to introduce a same sex experience that there had never been any indication was a possible attraction to prior to the last episode. What was that? Throwing a "bone" to the LGBTQ community? For what purpose since it was the last episode? And why end with Umma having discovered she had an incurable disease? How are viewers supposed to feel about that? Awful ending. For an otherwise loved series. Horrible! Such wasted potential!
