Mathews’ recent demonstration of clinical paranoia concerning his fear of being executed should Sanders be elected president, is beyond talking-head bias for the sake of coveted ratings. Once revered for his depth of experience and knowledge, he now has devolved into a feeble, almost child-like voice from a bygone, “duck and cover” era. His blatant promotion in preserving the corporate democratic political machine is an embarrassment to MSNBC and quality journalism.
