I couldn't even finish the first episode - got to the point where the father is ranting on at the funeral, saying how he needs someone to blame. Obviously, he is blaming the surgeon - never mind the kid who actually knifed his son to death. And the murderer is sitting in the church at the funeral!!! What a poorly written waste of time.

I've read the book, and I thought they did a very good job with the movie. Great casting, and good scenes where they actually had the Germans speaking German, not English with a German accent!
