I am grateful to be able to submit a review of The Surgeon's Cut. I thoroughly enjoyed and admired the four documentaries, especially learning more about the personal lives of the four doctors. Each doctor is to be honored and respected for their special contributions!! The doctor I especially resonated with and appreciated was the segment on Dr. Alfred Quinones-Hinojosa. Not only the incredible work he does with the brain, especially since all of our activities involve a part of the brain, but the way he describes his humble beginnings. How he had (and still does) to find a way to overcome so many obstacles. He described his jumping over the fence to the US and his heartfelt memories that so influence him today. One of my favorite sayings from him was how he "felt connected to his client's soul-----" Dr. Quinones-Hinojosa is a man who has not forgotten his "heart" and works with his clients both physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
