Bad plot, forced chemistry, lame jokes, Isabelle (the main character) is too flawless and un-relatable. Redeeming quality: good looking actors.

It’s a disappointment. Kerry Washington is a talented actress but in this show she’s unbelievably annoying. It’s hard to sympathize with her and everybody else. Everything is overly dramatized, the characters, plot, struggles. It’s unfortunate because of the amazing casts!!!!

It could have been great but it was not the truth. It was too woke and too unrealistic for what really happened in during that era. Had it changed the year to present it would have been more believable. History happened so we can learn from it and be better, but re-writing it defeat its purpose. What would make this show better? Change the tittle to “back to the future” then everything will make sense.

This show is trying to mimic “call me by your name”. Unfortunately it’s unable to make it as interesting because it’s longer. It feels like the story is stretched to fill the length of the show. It’s boring, slow at times and unnecessary storyline. Needs more editing.
