Enjoy the debates however they talk about 100000 job vacancies in NHS and talk about bringing in people from abroad to do these jobs but how about looking at trying to put together a long term plan to encourage pupils at school to look at it as a good job prospect and to make the training especially for nurses less degree based the old way was common sense TLC was the basis to get into student training and taught in hospitals under a sister and matron and the only pressure was to pass your exams at the end of your studies ....not always pushing IT jobs down people's throats as they do at schools now ..bring back woodwork, domestic science, metal work, competition through sports between schools ....give our youngsters something to be proud of competition is healthy ....and not to be ashamed to look at other trades through topics at school not IT IT IT
