Meehhh….disappointing :/ I really liked the first one. The sequel was whack. The beginning was hard to follow and when it became clear where the plot was going it turned into the same as the first one with more characters. The characters were underdeveloped and Maui and Moana didn’t grow much. Actually Moana did develop some what. I loved the cultural aspect and the ancestors and the ocean and the animation. I loved how the characters were drawn and the natural hair. But still disappointing. 😔

Great dancing scenes. Terrible plot! The first two magic mikes were much stronger than this last one. I watched it just to see the dance performances.

I love the actors and the characters. However, they were entirely too one dimensional. Tamara was always the goofy, trouble maker and Tia was always the smart overachiever. The parents did not have major range either. It is a great show for days I want a good laugh and a simple storyline. I love that the show centers Black characters and Black culture. It is a feel good sitcom. I love Tia and Tamera for life.
