It starts with the usual formula: a boy and girl from rival families fall in love, but of course, their families hate each other. No marriage for them! The boy spirals into madness, while the girl marries someone else—only to realize she still loves the first guy. Naturally, the new husband dies (because why not?) and the girl runs back to her first love, who is now completely retarded. She’s so devastated that she suicides and he dies too, because, apparently, that’s the only way to end this nonsense.
