I have to agree with the reviews that say it is like watching a play.My friend who watched it with me said it best,she didn't see reason to make this movie.It was s a book, that's where it should have stayed.If you have an interest in just watching people's lives progress like a soap opera,then you might like it To us,it just felt like "why was this movie made exactly". Neither of us could say we liked it and neither of us could say we would tell anyone to go and see it.We are big movie-goers and went into this movie with open minds, didn't know anything really about it and let it play out.As I said,why was this book turned into a movie 🥱.

We thought it was as a great movie, acting,whole mood created It was so thought provoking and I said right away the message in this movie is exactly how I've viewed religion for most of my life.A very original story but yet it doesn't actually feel like a story,it parallels many people's views on religions of the world. It is seen as a crutch for those who don't want to and can't accept this is no more after we die.

Loved the movie ...only found it recently.Wish I knew became of the guy who became his "assistant" in the end??.

Disappointed in this James Wan movie.The story idea is good but the movie becomes to much like a slasher-type thing.Save the money,don't bother seeing it in the theatre

The story is interesting 🤔, however I was wondering if he might suffer from guilt,PTSD, depression or anything but no I read he lived the rest of his life on St John, tropical US Virgin Island 🏝️. Until he died of throat cancer from chain smoking.
