I mean the game looks alright and some stuff is fun but I can’t be mean to anyone like a renegade option, the stupid politics being shoved down my throat breaks immersion to take a few minutes to address something that has nothing to do with anything, and the awful looking bland characters really makes this disappointing. Loved the previous titles but this in no way feels like Dragon Age. Sacrificing good story telling to play it safe and try to pander to a small small small minority of people is ridiculous. Gaming companies like BioWare, Ubisoft, and EA still have learned nothing from years of lack luster gaming on their part. The characters are so unlikelable and it’s a huge shame. I really dislike almost all of them and honestly I just want to skip all the cutscenes, which is the main point, so I can get back to the action and even that gets stale after a bit. Luckily, I gave up and returned this hollow shell of a game. I do not recommend this unless you enjoy empty dialogue, cringy unlikable characters, and identity politics. Makes me truly worried about the next Mass Effect if this is the direction they want to go with. PS all game review companies who gave this such praise should be investigated. Clearly they were paid to pump positive reviews since the developers knew this would not relate to 90% of their fan base.

I dont really think I hate this game because I enjoyed my time in the first few matches but I have to complain about the 5v5 as before I was a fan of it. Without the extra tank, anytime I play as support I feel like we get bombarded with fire and a Rein or Sigma shield doesnt last long at all. I missed the overall server overload but I do think Blizzard should have had that under control by now with how much money they get and the expectation they had. My biggest complaint is the lack luster battle pass that is very similar to Halo Infinite which is one of the reasons it died. To pay for meager cosmetics that barely have any effort in them like a camo winston skin or a neon splatter skin for genji which I never play either of those characters and I dont want to pay actual money for skins that arent in the battle pass and dont want to pay what will seem like a subscription just to get the stuff I want. Blizzard I am disappointed in the fact that you have jumped on the train of monetization like other games that lose their fan base quickly. I'll play this game occasionally but I doubt you'll get another dime from me since the game is now about money and no longer about the fun for its user.
