Not sure what the whole purpose or objective is - what are the judges judging ? taste, technique, innovation, best tried and true recipes, best new recipes, best comfort food, best fine dining, best every day food, best grandma recipe, best menu best presentation etc. For example in the 2023 final we have the winning team cooking boring homey curry, curry and curry and the losing team really pushing the envelope in technique and presentation. Why was curry curry curry better?
