Rodney Harrington (Ryan O'Neill) was a cool dude and of course, lent his name to that fashion staple the Harrington jacket. It became a uniform of the mods and then skinheads of the late 60's and into the 70's.I've had many and in fact have a beige one today. Yep, Peyton Place was a trendsetter and for daytime tv risque and ahead of its time.

This is shocking viewing. A 'celeb' in a costume comes on and dances to a recorded song allegedly sung by them. Then you have to guess who the celeb is! I really don't get the point. Wouldn't it be better, and even cheaper, to just have a panel simply guess the singer having listened to the recording? Hardly cutting edge entertainment! Pretty abysmal.....

Its a pity that this show has moved from being a must see afternoon cookery show to a 30 minute advert for various food companies. Pancakes? Oat bars? (10/06/20). Hardly examples of Richo's culinary talents or Rosies nutritious delights but recipes you could get from the side of a packet. They've dropped the art of cookery at the cost of advertising. Might as well call it a day....
