This album was released a year after I graduated from high school. Twenty-four years later it still is on my favorites list. Oddly, as a guitar player myself, I love the drumming from Nicholas Barker first, then the guitars. The guitar tone and aggression is to my fancy. Vortex has some really catchy clean vocal sections. The orchestra helps perfect the dark atmosphere as well.
