Yes, it is as bad as the reviews are saying. Confused, confusing, pretentious, obscure, obvious, verbose, embarrassing. It’s FFC’s money, but to think that this cost $140 million is almost criminal.

It started out strong and smart, but halfway through it descended into stupidity, repetitiveness, and cheap Grand Guignol. Very disappointing after its initial promise and its good reviews. It should have been tightened up by 30-40 minutes. By the end I was just wishing it would be over.
