The beginning of this movie is a very DISTORTED and OVERSIMPLFIED version of the book. The movie only veers farther apart from the storyline the further along it goes. There is NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and every single major event that happens in the book is either changed or absent. The characters are also OVERLY DRAMATIC. This is a very bad movie that does not accurately depict James Dashner's book and I would not recommend it to anyone because it is a WASTE OF TIME.
