XTREMEKILLERMAN 7

Great movie, typically I find myself checking my phone during slow burn type movies due to how slow burn they really are, and the lack of meaningful suspense which actually keeps me invested in the story. The gift however, treads the line beautifully and better than anything on this side of film I have seen before. I highly recommend going in blind by the way, that's how I watched it. All three main characters are played to the tea with a hats off to Joel Edgerton. I genuinely don't think I have cringed as much as I have within this movie, (in a good way) Gordon (the antagonist) was both portrayed incredibly aswell as having his backstory and motives played out to the audience in a way which feels rewarding and disturbing. All in all, I couldn't recommend this movie more.

This is the most amazing sitcome created to date. It juggles funny and easy to understand comedy well, whilst still tackling serious topics such as: crook cops, racial profiling and having the best homosexual character in tv and film ever. Captain Holt. I absolutely love captain holt and how his sexuality is not shoved down the viewers throat. It is apart of his character which is both built throughout the series and established well the first time the viewer meets him. Every main character is great and enjoyable to watch. The only character who I can see being kinda lame is Rosa just because she's so monotone half the time and isn't given a lot to work with. BTW season 8 is actually not as bad as people are saying. I'd say the first episode is probably the worst episode of the show due to the serious tone that it equips but honestly a sitcom isn't the place for pure, serious, political themes. I want to watch a sitcom to just enjoy myself without having to think much whatsoever. But still, I highly recommend Brooklyn nine nine to absolutely anyone.

I really hate to say this and I mean really hate to say this because I loved breaking bad, but this show is insanely slow with absolutely no pay off whatsoever. After watching breaking bad I thought it would be interesting to see how the characters I loved from that show were before the show. Sadly I've dragged myself to watching the next episode, not on the edge of my seat waiting to see what exciting thing they will show me next, but hoping they will have an exciting storyline in the next episode. If you are coming to watch this show because you loved breaking bad, DO NOT have high expectations. The only worthwhile parts of this show that are consistent are Mike and the cartels stroyline and everything that comes with that. I am close to finishing season 3 btw.
