Shikara (Movie Review 2020) I especially would like to say one thing in the beginning "Bollywood is Coward, they don't have balls to show truth (Especially few Filmmakers)". When the trailer of the movie came out I knew that the makers of this movie do not have guts to show the research related facts but I thought at least the makers will show the facts those are available on the internet or in public platforms, but they don't even show 5% of it. We all know about the announcement on loudspeakers but due to Secular Bollywood, it's not there... From where SHREE RAM MANDIR Issue came here I am still in Confusion, and how can they say "Talking about Shree Ram divides people". Another example of how Bollywood is HINDUFOBIC. Direction - Seriously disappointed by the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He missed a golden opportunity, he couldn't convey the feelings of Kashmiri Pandits, how much they suffered. Story, Screenplay and Dialogues - The story tried to justify what happened in Kashmir in 1989-90, by showing a soft and loving angel of a terrorist. There are a lot of real points are missing from the story. Only one murder shown in the movie (Duration 30 second only) but the appropriate number available on the internet. Not even a single dialogue on Rapes in Valley during exodus in this movie. Not even try to put lights on Targeted killings, Kidnapping and a lot of threats. Dialogues are trying to misguide the audience. Cinematography is good, especially a few shorts of the film are beautiful. Acting - New lead actors Sadia and Aadil really did a good job as an actor. Song and music - Songs are not good and background music also not up to the mark. I will say you can ignore this movie, because, the real reason to watch this Movie as an Audience is to know what happened 30 years back to Kashmiri Pandits, but trust me the Makers not even show 5% of it...
