It is a terrible rendition that has had me asking, "Who wrote this"? I could get behind the idea to make it into a musical, but the songs were garbage. If they hadn't copied/pasted lines from the original movie in such an incongruent way so as to make it feel like a spoof movie. It had funny moments, the cast were alright, the updates to current tech and teenage terminology were okay. We all have our own thoughts on it, but it was hard for me to watch. Old SNL cast were a good choice, about the only good one.
