Gobsmacked by the number of mixed or negative reviews for this show. It was a completely engaging mix of twisting storylines and complex characters wrapped up in multiple plots of intrigue, ambition and revenge. Everything was delivered with fantastic visuals and top-notch acting and I think it already sits atop Amazon's list of first seasons for a series and has the potential to take the crown. It felt like watching a more mature and edge-of-your seat Spartacus 2.0 and I am eager for Amazon to release the second season. The best advice I can give is to ignore all the reviews and watch it unreservedly for yourself. Excellent show.
