Love the show overall, would give it 5 but..... (updated to 2020) I really don't like the host, Alyson Hannigan. I think her delivery is always very wooden and fake (a lot like her acting I suppose) but it's just 10x worse when she's a presenter. Preferred Jonathan Ross, his presenting skills shone through. Best talent show on TV though, P&T always seem fair in their judgement and generally have nice things to say about every act. -Updated- They keep getting people back on that have fooled them multiple time and or people who have failed in the past. Must only be a handful of magicians or illusionists to book on the show.

I do love it, don't get me wrong. Just season 5 seems to have fallen off a cliff. The stories are one's we've heard and seen before with twists that have been so overdone in the these types of stories that it was just obvious. Gone are the clever twists and turns. Now we just have simple stories that are only worth watching once....the Christmas episode was such a let down.....was like watching an episode of Eastenders (plot straight out of a soap) Either they ran out of ideas, ran out of time or just don't care any more.

The first season was pretty good, lots of action and intrigue to keep you going. The second season fell of a cliff like they forgot what show they were making. Turned into a show that focused on people walking around and talking. They barely showed any games, most of them shown as clips and the most unimaginative types at that. The games they do show go on for so long that they don't even finish in one episode, for no real reason other than trying to make it a cliffhanger. Characters turned into the most dumb versions of themselves. In one episode they need food so scavenge a shop (plenty of food in shops with long shelf lives available and they are everywhere, makes sense). But later they decide to dedicate a whole bunch of time showing them running around trying to catch one bunny. Way too many flashback clips of backstory that added nothing to the main plot, felt like filler more than anything and you don't get to learn anything at the end. I couldn't wait for season two to finish. If this manages to get resurrected like the many characters that survived death despite being shot a million times or burned up I will not be watching.

Watched based on the stella reviews. Maybe I'm just getting too old but it was just stupid. Didn't think it was funny, profound or vaguely interesting. Offers nothing new and just tries to include as much "wacky" stuff scene after scene. A very typical storyline that tries way too hard. Also the many reviews that claim if you don't like the film then you don't understand it.....there's really not much to understand lol. It isn't deep at all. I was brought up on comics involving multiverses, we've had plenty of movies by now that have them and they're not hard to understand. Waste of my time.

Whilst it wasn't awful, there are far worse films out there.... I called out the killer as soon as I saw them so just waiting for me to be told that I was right lol. I found it VERY VERY VERY obvious as to whom the killer would be. Traps were meh, deaths edited to be not very gruesome for a Saw film. It was just meh in all aspects. The monologues that we've heard before. The corrupt cops get killed story that gets pushed out every now and again. Was it just made with an agenda in mind instead of the want to create a good story? Movie cash grab at it's finest.

I'm fed up of these Batman stories that require Bruce to be an angsty manchild who can no longer run his business or have a social life. The most boring potrial of Batman I've seen. It just felt hollow. "Dark" movie should not mean everything is dark. Low lighting and shot with only 5 shades of brown. I could have watched it in black and white and it wouldn't have made a difference. Plot was awful and just had Batman shuffling along here and there. It just felt all over the place. Was a 3 hour long My Chemical Romance music video but the music was Ave Maria which is used loads for some reason.

Came to see this amazing climber free solo El Captain and was more than disappointed that 1hr 20min of the 1hr 40min film was about him and his partner with a little bit of build up. Then the 10mins which contains the free solo of the mountain didn't have so much footage of him climbing. Lots of cutaways to long distance shots with sped up footage to show his route up the mountain and footage of cameramen saying "let me know when this happens"...."it's happening"....."oh it is, going fast"......."yes, he's ahead of schedule"......thrilling! Would have preferred 20mins of solid footage of him doing the climb.
