In 1987 the Federal Communications Commission voted 4-0 to rescind the Fairness Doctrine that required radio and television stations to present balanced coverage of controversial issues. In today's world most folks get their 'news' in sound bites from biased new stations - facebook - and other social media sites resulting to what is identified as 'fake news'. I believe if President Trump reinstates the Fairness Doctrine that would greatly help restore fair and balanced news reporting for all Americans and get this country back on track.
