Having never watch the first Top Gun, yes imagine that, I went into this reboot without preconceptions. Part of the success of any film should be based on the viewers total suspension of disbelief. But sadly I spent two hours watching Tom Cruise, well just being Tom Cruise, which is not entertaining at all. The fact that this movie has been nominated for the Academy Award for best picture is hilarious.
