It started off badly, got worse, but managed to correct somewhat by the end. The writing and performances were pretty terrible. The more famous cast members made attempts to deliver characters despite dialogue that was vapid and pointless. Attempts were made at humor but fell flat. This movie had nothing about it that was the least bit authentic. The budget was wasted on CGI and star power which left nothing for script, direction, cinematography, editing. At best it’s just dull and schlocky. David Harbour delivered the only believable emotion and is spared getting skewered in most reviews because he dodged a bullet by being spared any spoken lines. What was the point of the movie? Thats anyones guess.

This is a work that takes filmmaking as a medium for storytelling to a terrible new low. It has the feel of an idea that was conceived of by guys who were drunk at a party and decided to go through with it by casting their friends, family members, and neighbors as the actors and making up the plot and dialog as they went along. Tinker relentlessly pushes the viewers to ask themselves “why the hell am I still watching this?”
