This play is different in the sense it has to be done in a church. The essence is the dreams of the four soldiers and the use of their names, David King (King David) Peter Able, (Able with Cain, ands Absolem). Private Meadows has often been seen as God, and the Corporal, whose name at this moment, escapes me, act out their dreams. I played Peter, way back in 1967, so my memory has its own imagination. The blank verse causes problems as you can't fake it if you forget your lines. Try being one if the characters, and see how you fair.
